Restrain Your Children
Crash-related injuries are the leading cause of death among children in the U.S. In 2009, over 200,000 kids under age 16 were injured and more than 1,000 died as a result of a crash. When parents are on the road, one of the most important things they can do to keep their kids safe is to make sure they’re properly buckled up. In this podcast, Dr. Erin Sauber-Schatz discusses the importance of properly restraining young passengers in motor vehicles. Created: 9/22/2011 by MMWR. Date Released: 9/22/2011.
