   Prevent Flu & Pneumonia

This card shows photos of a person using an inhaler and another person testing her blood sugar and reads Pneumonia can impact anyone, especially during flu season. Persons with certain health conditions, like diabetes and asthma, are more likely to develop bacterial pneumonia as a result of the flu. To find out if you or a loved one are at risk and should be vaccinated against the flu and bacterial pneumonia, visit flu and pneumococcal vaccine websites. This card links to two websites, http://www.flu.gov/individualfamily/vaccination/index.html and http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/pneumo/in-short-both.htm#who websites
